Getting Downtown

Many of the Bay Area's major highways meet in downtown San Jose, including U.S. Highway 101, State Routes 87 and 17 and Interstates 880, 280 and 680.

Freeway Access to Downtown San Jose

	From southbound Highway 101 Take Highway 87 (Guadalupe Parkway) and exit at Market Street, Julian Street or Park Avenue
	From southbound Interstate 280 Take Highway 87 (Guadalupe Parkway) north and exit at Santa Clara Street or Julian Street
	From southbound Interstate 880 Exit at the Coleman Avenue/Airport exit and two left turns (Coleman becomes Market Street as it enters the downtown area)
	From southbound Interstate 680 (which becomes northbound Interstate 280) Take Highway 87 north and exit at Santa Clara Street or Julian Street
	From northbound Highway 101 Take Interstate 280 north to Highway 87 north and exit at Santa Clara Street or Julian Street
	From northbound Highway 17 Take Interstate 280 south to Highway 87 north and exit at Santa Clara Street or Julian Street
