Evening Parking

$3 PARKING IN CITY-OWNED LOTS AND GARAGES
Motorists will now find $3 flat-rate parking after 6 p.m., seven nights a week, at these facilities:

• The Central Place lot
• Market and San Pedro Garage
• Third Street Garage
• Second and San Carlos Garage
• San Fernando and Second lot
• Fourth Street Garage
• First and St. James lot
• Second and St. James lot
• Pavilion Garage

The $3 rate will help purchase the Greyhound Bus site property for future parking. The funds will also be used to make parking facilities as inviting and friendly as possible.  Parking downtown has always been convenient and plentiful.  In all, there are 23,000 parking spaces -- a great start for your stay in downtown San Jose.  

In addition, two-hour validations will be honored, with a few exceptions. Free parking is still offered in many of these lots on weekends and holidays from 6 a.m.-6 p.m.

SOME EXAMPLES
Market-San Pedro and Third Street garages.

Enters at 5 p.m. and exits at 10:30 p.m., the fee is $4.25.
Enters at 7 p.m. and exits at 11 p.m., the fee is $3.
Enters at 7 p.m. and exits at 10 p.m., using a 2-hour retail validation coupon. The customer is validated to 9 p.m. and the fee is $3 after 9 p.m.
Enters at 7 p.m. and exits at 9 p.m., using a 2-hour retail validation coupon. Parking is free.
